This collection of essays (mostly in French) is the second of its kind in Afrique(s) en mouvement (i.e., “Africa[s] on the Move”) series published by Université Internationale de Rabat. This series of essays seeks to understand the underlying motivations and roles played by women in terrorist organizations. A total of 15 articles make up the collection in an effort to address the factors surrounding the radicalization of women in the context of North African countries, as well as in Senegal, Sahel countries, and Belgium. Other articles focus on a critical analysis of development and counter-terrorism policies in Morocco, their limits and possibilities.
*Only three articles are available in English.
